Vintage 18ct Yellow Gold Sapphire and Diamond Halo Cluster Ring

When we see a beautifully made Sapphire and Diamond halo ring we immediately think of Princess Diana's engagement ring, which is arguably one of the most famous engagement rings and is still so popular today both as an engagement ring or an occasion ring. This Sapphire and Diamond halo ring is beautiful with its deep sea blue-green tone accented by a sparkling white diamond surround. 
 
A lot of thought has gone into the details of this ring - with everything from the claw setting holding the natural sapphire to the leaf shoulders. The band is crafted in 18ct yellow gold with the diamond and sapphire setting being in 18ct white gold. The additional leaf shoulders are also in 18ct white gold. 
 
There are 12 sparkly natural diamonds that surround the oval sapphire and compliment it perfectly. This ring is beautifully sparkly and will make the perfect addition to any hand.
 
The stones have been tested and verbally assessed within their setting. The Sapphire has been assessed as natural and approx 8.6mm x 6.4mm. Each diamond is natural earth-mined single cut. Each diamond is approx .015cts making a total of approx .18tcw. 
 
Hallmarks: The original hallmarks are no longer present but it is stamped "18ct" and tested as 18ct gold. 
 
Condition: The ring is in fantastic vintage condition with wear commensurate with age. The central sapphire shows signs of age with some nibbles and light abrasions to some facet edges.
