9ct Gold Stag "I Strive Against" Signet Ring

9ct Gold Stag "I Strive Against" Signet Ring

We believe everyone should have at least one signet ring in their collection. They are the perfect ring to wear all day every day. We absolutely adore this one with the beautiful family crest of a stag head with the latin motto below "nitor in adversum" which translates into "I strive against". It also has the special comemorative stamp for the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II.

From research we believe the family crest to be linked to the Horner family in Scotland.

The ring has been adored for many years, leaving the edges and top of the stag engraving slightly softened.

Condition: The ring is in great used condition with wear commensurate with age.

Hallmarked: Crown 375 for 9ct gold, Anchor for Birmingham, a date letter for the year 2011. A commemorate stamp of Queen Elizabeth's head in a diaond shape for Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. There is also a makers mark.
