Antique Chester 15ct Curb Bracelet

Antique Chester 15ct Curb Bracelet

We love it when we attain pieces with special dates on them, we love it even better when we find someone that has that same special month and day all these years later! So if August 7th (or July 8th if you're in the US and you read dates the other way around...) is a special date for you, this one is meant for you!

We love the buttery warm gold of antique 15ct. It's becoming harder to find as it went out of use in 1932 in England. The links are lovely chubby curb links crafted out of thick 15ct gold and has a matching heart padlock which makes the perfect clasp. There is also a safety chain ensuring you never lose it!

Condition: It is in great antique condition with light wear commensurate with age. The clasp is strong and secure. The links are crafted out of thick 15ct gold but are hollow within, despite this the links do not dent easily as it is thick gold.

Hallmarks: The end link is stamped "15ct" and all links have been tested. The heart clasp is hallmark 15.625 for 15ct gold, the Chester assay mark and a makers mark "JWK". The date letter is too worn to decipher. There is also a date engraved to the reverse "7.8.44"
