Antique (1889) 18ct star set old mine cut diamond ring
We have yet to meet anyone that does not adore a star set old diamond ring. This one is a little sweetheart with its three super sparkly old mine cut diamonds. They are set in buttery 18ct gold and it has managed to retain its original hallmarks despite its age of 135 years! It's a ring that will never go out of style.
Despite the diamonds being small, they have a LOT of sparkle. The central diamond is an old mine cut diamond of approx .08ct and each side diamond is approx .03cts.
Hallmarks: Crown 18 for 18ct gold, Chester assay mark and a date letter for the year 1889.
There is also a makers mark "R.N"
Condition: The ring is in fantastic antique condition with wear commensurate with age. There is a small area to the shank where upon close inspection it can be seen that there was a resize in its history.
Weight: 3.85g
Size UK L.25 / US 6 (This ring can be resized)
