Antique (1902) 9ct Gold Watch Chain
This beautiful chain is in the most amazing condition with its beautifully formed elongated curb links that are solid through and through. The stamps are super clear and there is no wear whatsoever between the links - no thinning or repairs. It's a true antique roey gold hue that has a gorgeous warmth to it.
The combination of that big bolt clasp and dog clasp are just perfect - add charms to them, wear them to the front or put them to the back.
It's a great length at just under 18" so will be the perfect necklace to wear all day every day.
The hallmarks are really the icing on the cake. There's a chester assay mark along with a date letter so we know it was made in 1902... that's 123 years old. Such a special find in such a brilliant condition.
Hallmarks: Every link is stamped 9.375 for 9ct gold. There is a Chester assay mark and a date letter for the year 1902 to one of the links. There is also a makers mark on the same link. The dog clasp is stamped 9ct. The entire piece has been tested as 9ct gold.
Condition: The chain is in fantastic antique condition. Both clasps are strong and springy.
