Antique (1912) 9ct Curb Link Albert Watch Chain

Solid links. Hallmarks everywhere. Soft 9ct yellow gold. Antique dog clasp. This chain has it all. t's crafted in beautiful 9ct yellow gold and feels weighty and lush when worn. The links are ungraduated and solid. The dog clasp is handing for adding pendants to or worn to the back for a cleaner look.

 

It's the perfect length at just under 17" and the tone of the 9ct gold is really unique. It's not rosey toned in the slightest, and it's not yellowy yellow. It's a soft pale tone that works perfectly in any stack. 

 

Hallmarks: All links are stamped 9.375. The dog clasp is hallmarked 9.375 and also has a makers mark.  One end ring is hallmarked with an Anchor for Birmingham and a date letter for the year 1912. There is also a partial makers mark to one of the central curb links. The entire piece has been tested as 9ct gold.

 

Condition: The chain is in great antique condition with wear commensurate with age. The dog clasp is strong and springy.
