Antique (1919) 9ct Gold Signet Ring

Antique (1919) 9ct Gold Signet Ring

A super sweet little 9ct gold signet ring with the round top being engraved with the initials "PL". It has its full original hallmarks so we know it was made in the year 1919 in Birmingham England by Deakin and Francis.

The gold is a beautiful warm slightly rosey hue typical to antique 9ct gold. The engraving to the top is still super crisp and we love that!

Hallmarks: 9.375 for 9ct gold, anchor for Birmingham, date letter for the year 1919. Makers mark: D&F for Deakin and Francis. Deakin & Francis were founded in 1786 and is still in operation today. It is still owned by the Deakin family.

Condition: The ring is in good antique condition with wear commensurate with age. There are signs of a historic resize to one side of the ring. This cannot be seen when worn and can be removed by a skilled jeweller if sizing down.
