Antique 22ct gold Floral Engraved band (1867)

Antique 22ct gold Floral Engraved band (1867)

Chunky in the best kind of way, at just over 7g, with beautiful detailing that goes fully around the band creafted in solid 22ct buttery gold.

It would most likely have been  a wedding band given to someone during Queen Victoria's reign. The beautiful engraving of 2 flowers patterned around the band make it a beautiful piece.

Hallmarked with a crown 22 for 22ct gold, an anchor for Birmingham, and a date letter for the year 1867. There is also a makers mark CG&S which we believe to be for Charles Green & Sons and a cartouche of Queen Victoria which was used as a duty mark and used between 1784 and 1890.

Condition: The ring is in fantastic antique condition. The engraving is not as crisp as it would have been originally however, is still very clear. The band is lovely and thick and no sign of damage/repair or thinning.

Weight: 7.15g

Size UK K.5 - US 5.5 - Will fit slightly smaller due to width (not resizable)
