Antique 9ct Albert Chain with Sliding T bar (14")

Antique 9ct Albert Chain with Sliding T bar (14")

We love an Albert chain. They are so versatile. They can be worn as a necklace, a bracelet, an extender, used to hold your charms, or perfect on their own. This one at 14" makes the best shorter layer, or perfect as a double bracelet with that sliding T bar. The Albert has both a dog clasp and a bolt ring making it pretty perfect.

The T bar slides freely up and down the chain and it also spins.

The 9ct gold is a beautiful warm rosey gold that has softened over time and is typical to antique 9ct gold. (It is not a brash pink gold like modern rose gold).

Hallmarks: Every link is stamped 9 375 for 9ct gold. The T bar has a lion stamp for London and a date letter for the year 1924. There is also a partial makers mark on the T bar. The hallmark on the clasp is only partially seen but has been tested as solid 9ct gold. The dog clasp has the full 9 375 hallmark.

Condition: The piece is in great antique condition with wear commensurate with age. Most hallmarks are clear and present although some are worn due to age. Both clasps are strong and work perfectly.

Weight: 22.56g

Length: 14" (There is approx. 1/2" of excess curb chain hanging with the T bar that could be used to extend the chain - this would need to be done by a jeweller)
