Antique 9ct Curb Link Albert Watch Chain

It has all the quality, markings and look of a heavy antique Albert chain... however, the links are cleverly crafted to be hollow. This means that it looks chunky and heavy but won't cost the earth. It's crafted in beautiful 9ct gold with a soft warmth to it due to age. It would have originally been flashed in higher carat true yellow gold but now has a softness to it. 
 
The links are 7.5mm wide so really stand out in a stack. The T bar slides along the links and the dog/bolt clasp combination finish it off perfectly.
 
As it is a shorter length it can be used as a choker style necklace or doubled around your wrist. It would also be perfect for adding a bracelet or extender to to make a longer chain (see photo for look with a 7" bracelet added). There is also a small section of links hanging with the T bar that can be added to the main section of links to lengthen it by approx 1". 
 
Hallmarks: All links are stamped 9. The T bar is stamped 9. The entire piece has been tested as 9ct gold. 
 
Condition: The chain is in great antique condition with wear commensurate with age. Both clasps are strong and springy. They show some slight discolouration from age. The T bar shows up a bit more yellow in hue than the links.
