Antique 9ct Gold Double Albert Bracelet with T Bar

Antique 9ct Gold Double Albert Bracelet with T Bar

This bracelet would have started its life out as a watch chain for a gentleman in the early 1900s. And it would have been a beauty as that! Someone along the line has acquired the piece and instead of chopping it up, has created a double bracelet, incorporating the entire original piece, including the dog clasp and the T bar.

The graduating solid curb links are crafted in 9ct gold of a true yellow hue, with a softness due to its age.

The bracelet is in excellent antique condition with light wear commensurate with age. Clasp is strong and secure. The T bar can be removed if desired.

Hallmarks:  Each link is stamped 9. 375 for 9ct gold. There is also a Birmingham assay mark of an anchor and a date letter for the year 1915. The dog clasp and T bar also share the same makers mark "J.M".

If this bracelet was opened up back to its original layout as a chain it would be approx 15" long as is, or with the addition of another dog clasp approx 16". This would need to be done by a jeweller (please contact us for a quote if you wish for our jeweller to do this work)

Weight: 29.8g

Length: 7.75” - 8.25" (The clasp can be attached to the ring closest to the links or closest to the T bar depending on the length you require) (This bracelet can be easily shortened by a skilled jeweller)
