Antique 9ct Gold Working Whistle Pendant

One fancy lady had this hanging from her charm bracelet years ago. We wonder if she used it to order a coffee from the kitchen or to call her hound back in the fields. It's a well made antique whistle that most likely would have been originally used by a gentleman in the Victorian era and hung with his pocket watch. 
 
It makes a beautiful drop pendant on a chain and the fact that it works makes it even cooler. It is crafted from 9ct yellow gold with that warmth that is typical to the old gold.
 
Hallmarks: There are no hallmarks present but the whistle along with the jump ring have tested as 9ct gold.
 
Condition: The pendant is in great antique condition. There are very light marks and very light denting to the piece that can only be seen on close inspection.
