Rare Antique Georgian Memorial Pearl Locket Brooch
Have you ever seen such a beautiful and intricate piece of craftsmanship? Most of the time when you find one of these antique memorial brooches they are worn and missing at least one, if not more, of their original features. This one is in near perfect condition and we are so pleased that we were able to source this true collectors piece for you.
The front panel is set with weaved hair and intials (CH) set into the hair with tiny pearls. The craftsmanship of this is impeccable and unmatched. Either side of the initialed panel sit beautiful pearls and as if that wasn't enough... the reverse of the brooch is an open window locket to put something special.
Condition: The brooch is in fantastic antique condition with light wear commensurate with age. The only thing to note is that a couple of the interior pearls that make up the initials have come loose and are rolling freely within the panel.
Hallmarked: There are no hallmarks but the gold has been tested as 15ct.
