Antique (1909) 9ct Gold Fetter Chain

Antique (1909) 9ct Gold Fetter Chain

£1,035.00Price

We love a fetter link watch chain, it's such a beautiful addition to any neck mess. This beautiful antique watch chain from the early 1900s has a wonderful warm patina from its already well loved life and shows all the signs of a quality piece with every link hallmarked and matching makers marks. The dog clasp is perfect for hanging charms from.

Hallmarks: Every link is stamped 9.375. The dog clasp and one of the fetter links has a makers mark "M&M". There is also an anchor stamp for Birmingham assay and a date letter for the year 1909.

Condition: The chain is in good antique condition with wear commensurate to age. The dog clasp does not close fully, there is a tiny gap but not large enough for the chain link or a charm ring to come through it.
