Vintage (1948) 22ct Gold Band

We adore a simple gold band for wearing on those days that you don't want to be completely naked of jewellery, or to stack them up to make a gorgeously buttery ring stack. We believe the best ones are the higher carat gold ones so that they really stand out, and you can't get much better than old 22ct gold.
 
This simple skinny band is the perfect addition. It has all its original hallmarks and a makers mark too. 
 
Hallmarks: Crown 22 for 22ct gold, Leopard for London, date letter for the year 1948. Makers mark: WWLd
 
Condition: The band is in good vintage condition with light surface marks as would be expected from a piece of this age. There are a couple of very small nicks toward the bottom of the band (that sits on your finger), these can only be seen on cloe inspection and do not impact the ring nor can be felt or seen when worn. These can be polished out by a jeweller to take it back to its original high shine if desired.
