Vintage (1963) 9ct Gold Articulated Poodle Dog Pendant Charm

Vintage (1963) 9ct Gold Articulated Poodle Dog Pendant Charm

If you are looking for a charm or pendant with a ton of character, you have found the one. This poodle type dog is hilarious with its exaggerated features. Pull the lever at the bottom and he opens his eyes up wide and sticks his tongue out at you! How fun!

He is solid at nearly 8.5 grams of 9ct gold. We love the idea of him hanging in a neck stack, but he would also make a fab addition to a chunky charm bracelet collection.

He was made in the 1960s by the well known jeweller Fred Manshaw who was renowned for his charms and charm bracelets in London.

Hallmarks: Full hallmarks. 9.375 for 9ct gold, London, and the year 1963. There is also a makers mark "FM" for Fred Manshaw.

Condition: Great vintage condition. The signs of wear are to the enamel on his eyes and tongue (see photos). He has a large 9ct gold jump ring that has been pushed shut.

Weight: 8.4g
