9ct Gold Shield Ring (UK P)

Oh we just fell straight in love when we saw this one. Obsessed with anything that is a shield shape... and make it a gorgeous purple hued stone that looks exactly like an amethyst or even an almandine garnet and we are smitten. The setting and band are both substantial and weighty. 
 
It looks the part of a true antique ring with the solid gold and beautifully detailed top... but it's actually from the 1990s! No one will ever know. 
 
It's a really chunky ring and feels gorgeous on. The stone is glass yet we can promise you that it will fool everyone... It is lovely and a deep rich purple that catches the light beautifully. 
 
Hallmarks: Crown 375, Anchor for Birmingham, date letter for 1998. Makers mark. 
 
Condition: The ring is in great vintage condition with light wear commensurate with age. The band is till lovely and thick.
