Antique (1855) 18ct Old Cut Diamond Panel Ring (N 1/2)

Not only is the ring itself absolutely gorgeous, but the hallmarks are just the icing on the cake. It's such an old girl with all that history and beauty that you can wear and adore. At over 170 years old it is not only as beautiful today as it was back then, but so extremely "in style".

Crafted in 18ct yellow gold, the old cut diamonds sit in a double panel setting to the top and flash all their old world glamour. As it sits quite low to the finger it also stacks perfectly.

The diamonds are natural old hand cut diamonds. They all very in clarity and colour as would be expected from such small old stones but they have a beautiful sparkle all together.

Hallmarks: Crown 18, Leopard head for London, date letter for the year 1855. Young Queen Victoria head stamp which was a duty mark showing that excise tax was paid to the Crown. Makers mark of "AF".

Condition: The ring is in great antique condition with light surface wear commensurate with age.
