Antique (1900) 18ct Gold Band (Q)

We don't tend to find many simple antique 18ct gold bands, especially ones with their full crisp clear hallmarks and over 125 years old! This is a really special find with its beautiful patina, original hallmarks and even remnants of a beautiful hand engraving to the interior.
 
It sits low to the finger, so it has all the presence and still super comfortable.
 
The hand engraving is difficult to discern as it has softened with time, but can just about able to distinguish a "J" "P" and partial date "31 /12"
 
Hallmarks: Crown 18, Anchor for Birmingham, date letter for the year 1900. Makers mark: WM
 
Condition: The band is in good antique condition with light surface marks as would be expected from a piece of this age. It is ever so slightly out of round but this does not affect the comfort.
