Antique (1909) Bloodstone/Carnelian Spinner Fob
A simple yet beautiful fob that would have been used on a watch chain and carried around by a Victorian gentleman. One side has a natural bloodstone inset into the solid 9ct gold setting and the other side has a natural carnelian. The top is really beautiful with curb links and long links, and even the jump ring to the top is faceted - showing off what a true quality fob this is.
It's a true antique piece with crisp hallmarks showing it's made in solid 9ct gold in Birmingham with a date letter for 1909 and a makers mark too.
The fob is in lovely condition for its age. There are no nibbles or damage to either of the stones. There are some light scratches to the gold setting but nothing that detracts from the piece. The bloodstone is a deep dark green with only small red spots. The carnelian is a deep orange.
