Antique (1916) 18ct Gold Buckle Ring
At over 100 years old this beauty is an old lady that has lived beyond a lifetime. She shows her age and shows that she has been well loved. This is why we had to save her from being melted. Her edges and details have softened, but we think this makes her even more special.
Tee wide shape feels really comfortable when worn, and it sits low to the finger which means it stacks beautifully with any other rings you would want to pair it with.
The gold has softened and attained a patina to it that just adds to the beauty of it. She is priced really well due to the fact that she is not in perfect condition, but we hope she finds a home that will wear her and adore her as she deserves.
Hallmarks: Crown 18, Leopard head for London and a date letter for 1916. There is also a makers mark.
Condition: The ring is in well loved condition. Most of the details have worn with time and a part of the buckle detailing is no longer present. There are also some small bits of discolouration to one side of the details.
