Antique (1920) 18ct Gold Opal Ring

This beautiful opal ring is simply set in buttery 18ct gold simple bezel setting that allows her to show off her beauty. Her oval shape means she stands out on your finger and can be worn all on her own.
 
The natural cabochon opal flashes all the colours with the main being blue with green and orange undertones. The opal measures (within its setting) 6.7mm x 4.5mm. 
 
We love that she has retained her hallmarks so we know she's over 100 years old with that sought after Chester hallmark too.
 
Condition: The ring is in great antique condition with light wear commensurate with age. The opal has soft abrasions to the top as would be expected from a piece of this age.
 
Hallmarks: Crown 18 for 18ct gold, Chester assay mark, date letter for the year 1920. Makers mark: P&S.
