Antique 18ct Old Cut Diamond Star Set Earrings

When we saw these little diamond collar studs, we knew we had to convert them into the perfect earrings. And we were right, they make the most beautiful earrings! They have been kept in their original setting with the addition of a reclaimed gold post and new earring back making them the perfect addition to an ear stack.
 
They are add so much interest with the beautiful old cut diamond that sit slightly proud to the setting, and then the setting itself just has so much going for it.
 
The diamonds are well matched for old diamonds. They are each approx .09cts of natural old cut diamonds. Approx i/j colour VS1/2 clarity - they both face up white and sparkle beautifully. 
 
Condition: Fantastic condition. The posts and earring backs are strong and secure.
 
Weight: 1.67g
Hallmarks: The original hallmarks were lost in the conversion. But the earring heads test as 18ct gold and the posts are 18ct. The earring backs are 9ct gold.
