Antique 15ct Victorian Emerald and Ruby Ring (UK i 1/2)

You won't see many of these antique rings being sold by Goldhawk Jewellery, because we are very picky about which ones we want to offer to you. We couldn't resist this absolute beauty with her gorgeous detailed floral setting with bright green emeralds and a central pink ruby. The 18ct gold is buttery and although a small finger size, can easily be sized up.
 
There's a little surprise to the underside of the head of the ring. The Victorians loved a piece of jewellery with meaning. This one has a small circular shape that would have held a photo or perhaps a locket of hair. It is now missing its original closure so is not able to be used as it's original intention. 
 
This ring we can date to over 150 years old. It's not only a piece of history, but absolutely gorgeous and in lovely antique condition - ready to be worn and loved. 
 
Hallmarked: There are no hallmarks present but the ring has been XRF tested as 14/15ct gold throughout. 
 
Condition: The ring is in good antique condition. The engraving to the shoulders has softened with time and the stones do show nicks and abrasions on close inspection.
