Antique 18ct Gold Ruby and Old Mine Cut Diamond Trilogy Band
This ring has been part of our personal collection for some time now. It's a difficult one to offer up, but we'd love to see it go to someone who will wear and adore it as it deserves!
This is such a unique ring with the setting lovingly shaped around the stones to show off their organic shapes. You won't see another one of these on anyone else's finger. The central ruby is incredibly special with it's beautiful rich pink undertone that flashes around its unique elongated cushion shape and hand cut facets that catch the light.
All three stones are flush set into a weighty 18ct gold band, but their crowns sit proudly as would be expected from hand cut stones. They are super flashy and have a deep sparkle that will really capture you.
The gold is super buttery and it feels gorgeous and weighty when worn at 5.5g of solid 18ct gold.
The central natural earth-mined ruby is approx 6.3mm x 5.6mm with a soft octagonal cushion shaped faceting. The ruby is of excellent quality and a gorgeous deep pink undertone. There are natural inclusions with one dark inclusion to the side that can be seen on close inspection. There are also some small nibbles to some of the facets but nothing that impacts the strength or look of the stone.
The natural earth mined diamonds are approx .15cts each j/k colour VS1/2 - there are only small inclusions that have to be magnified to be seen. Please note that these assessments have been undertaken with the stones in their settings so should be viewed as an approximate.
Hallmarks: There are no hallmarks present but the entire piece has been professionally tested as 18ct gold.
Condition: The ring is in great antique condition with wear commensurate with age. The ring has been sized in the past and there is a small sizing lining to the bottom of the band that can be seen.
