Antique 18ct Gold Cable Link Albert Watch Chain

When we say that this is a once in a lifetime chain, we are not exaggerating... 18ct gold Albert watch chains are becoming increasingly difficult to find on the secondhand market. But this one is not just any watch chain. It can be worn in so many ways that you will find yourself wanting to wear it every day, and because the chain is made to the highest quality and in fantastic condition, you can wear it all day every day. And those perfectly chubby cable links will grasp all the attention and stand out in any stack. 
 
It's a beautifully made watch chain with solid 18ct gold cable links, a dog clip, a big bolt clasp and a sliding swivel T bar that can float up and down the chain to be in any position desired. You can even use the links on the T bar to create a lariat style necklace (see worn photos in listing). 
 
Each link is hallmarked with a Crown 18. The hallmarks are still so clear and there is very little wear to note considering the age of the piece. The links are all strong and perfectly formed, there is no thinning. 
 
There are matching makers marks present on the T bar and the dog clasp which we love, as we believe they are all original to eachother. 
 
Hallmarks: Every link is stamped with Crown 18. There is a matching makers mark "J.M" on the T bar and the dog clasp (hallmlark on dog clasp is slightly worn). The dog clasp is stamped Crown 18 and the bolt clasp is stamped 18.
 
Condition: The chain is in fantastic antique condition, there is very light wear commensurate with age. Both the bolt clasp and dog clasp are strong and springy.
