Vintage 9ct Gold Diamond and Ruby Crescent Brooch

Who doesn't love a crescent?
I was instantly drawn to this one because of the beautiful rubies and diamonds - it has a gorgeous sparkle and demands attention!
 
The brooch looks Victorian in its design but it is actually vintage with its full hallmarks, so we know it was made in 1975. The thought and care that has gone into this piece really stands out. With the natural stones all set in white to make them pop on a yellow gold reverse, its the perfect combination. 
 
It's such a gorgeous piece that looks wonderful in its intended purpose as a brooch on a shawl, jumper or jacket. Or you could add it to a chain and wear it in your neck mess. It's a piece you'll be able and wanting to wear all the time.
