Vintage Transitional Cut Diamond Star Set Ring (UK K 1/2)

A perfect softly domed star set diamond ring set with a little sparkly old transitional cut diamond. It's crafted in rich 18ct gold and sits beautifully in a stack of other rings.
 
The diamond has been assessed in its setting as a transitional cut natural diamond, approx. .20tcw i/j colour - VS1. It is very sparkly and faces up bright white. The diamond has been professionally tested to be a natural earth-mined diamond.
 
Condition: The ring is in great condition with light wear commensurate with age. The diamond sits slightly proud of the underside of the setting, we don't feel the point when worn but if you are sensitive you may feel the diamond on your finger when wearing. There are faint join lines where the ring was re-shanked at some point in its life but this can only be seen under close inspection and does not impact the ring. 
 
Hallmarked: The ring retains its original makers mark but the original hallmarks were lost in a historic re-shank. It now has modern hallmarks.
